AI Tools Assist Slovak Teachers in Designing Group Projects

The Slovak Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth reported that artificial intelligence can help teachers quickly create outlines for classroom group projects. By supplying the grade, subject and theme, AI generates a first draft that teachers can refine with class‑specific details, and can also produce evaluation rubrics, scoring sheets and reflective questions. The ministry stressed that student personal data must never be shared with AI systems.

In Austria‑based Hungarian Montessori educator Monika Kósa warned that AI should only be used after children have mastered fundamental skills such as reading, writing, arithmetic and independent thinking. She argued that early reliance on digital tools can lead to superficial learning and that critical thinking must remain the core of education, with AI serving as a complementary aid rather than a replacement.
