New artificial intelligence initiatives are being introduced to enhance the quality and efficiency of nursing and elderly care.

Supercuidadores and Idiena Health have launched a training program designed to humanize elderly care. The program utilizes AI-driven roleplays and simulations to help healthcare professionals practice emotional intelligence, manage difficult communications, and resolve conflicts. The goal is to provide practical training for managing the high emotional demands faced by caregivers in residential and home-care settings.

In a separate development, nursing student Esau Dávila has created NandiNurse, a web application designed to assist healthcare professionals with patient diagnostics. By inputting symptoms, users receive a Nursing Care Process (PAE) guide. The platform uses AI to synthesize data from academic libraries and books, aiming to simplify complex clinical procedures and provide more personalized, integrated patient care.
