AI training initiatives launched in Pakistan for women and banking sector

Two distinct artificial intelligence training programmes have been announced in Pakistan to address different professional sectors.

Islamabad.ai has launched a free online training initiative titled ‘100 Women Learning AI’. The programme, led by trainer Ummutullah Sundas Khan, aims to provide 100 female project managers with practical skills in AI and automation. Scheduled for November 6 to 12, 2026, the sessions are designed to help professionals use technology to streamline workflows, automate scheduling, and improve productivity without requiring an engineering background.

Separately, NIBAF Pakistan will host an executive workshop on November 5, 2026, at its Karachi Campus. Facilitated by Sajid Majeed, the session focuses on responsible AI, governance, and model risk management specifically for the banking industry. The workshop aims to help financial institutions manage the risks associated with automated decision-making, ensuring transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance in banking operations.
