Aigües de Barcelona assists in cleaning flooded Cerdanyola library

Following heavy rainfall on Saturday, the Central Library of Cerdanyola del Vallès experienced significant flooding. In response, the Cerdanyola City Council activated emergency resources to manage the damage and begin recovery efforts.

Aigües de Barcelona assisted in the cleanup by providing a specialized truck and personnel for four hours on Sunday, October 4. The intervention included pumping out accumulated water, vacuuming, and removing mud and sludge from the library's exterior and access points. To facilitate the cleaning process, water access was also established via a hydrant.

Cerdanyola Mayor Carlos Cordon expressed gratitude to Aigües de Barcelona for their rapid response and collaboration, noting that their support was vital in helping the city and its residents return to normalcy.
