AiMOGA Robotics plans IPO to expand humanoid robot production

AiMOGA Robotics, a subsidiary of Chery Automobile, is planning an initial public offering (IPO) to fund the expansion of its humanoid robot production. During the World Robot Conference in Beijing, company head Zhang Guiping stated that the firm is currently negotiating potential locations for the listing and expects a significant increase in humanoid robot supplies next year.

The company aims to compete among global robotics giants. The conference featured over 300 primarily Chinese firms showcasing more than 2,000 exhibits, with a focus on transitioning humanoid robots from demonstration models to practical commercial applications, such as sorting packages, packing mobile phones, and assisting with domestic chores.

Madison Huang, an executive at Nvidia and daughter of CEO Jensen Huang, made an unannounced appearance at the event, where she observed robot demonstrations and inquired about sensor technologies.
