Air Canada to launch direct Montreal-Seville flights in 2027

Air Canada has announced the launch of direct flights between Montreal and Seville, marking the first transoceanic connection for the Spanish city. The service is scheduled to begin on September 8, 2027.

Operating with Airbus A321XLR aircraft, the route will initially offer three weekly frequencies. Starting October 1, 2027, the service will increase to four flights per week. The airline plans to operate the route in two seasonal blocks: from September 2027 to January 2028, and again from February to June 2028.

Seville becomes the fifth Spanish destination in Air Canada's network. Local officials, including Mayor José Luis Sanz, noted that this connection strengthens ties with North America and enhances the city's international connectivity.
