Seville international aviation expansion

Overview

Seville is significantly expanding its international connectivity for the 2027 season. Air Canada has announced the launch of direct flights between Montreal and Seville, which will mark the city’s first transoceanic connection. Scheduled to begin in September 2027 using Airbus A321XLR aircraft, the service will initially offer three weekly frequencies before increasing to four per week in October 2027.

In addition to the new transatlantic service, Seville Airport is growing its network to 87 destinations served by 32 airlines. Norwegian will introduce new routes connecting the city to Oslo and Copenhagen, alongside new connections to Hamburg, Belgrade, London-Heathrow, and Florence.
