Air Serbia announces six new routes including Miami
Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek has announced the addition of six new routes to the airline’s network for the upcoming summer season. A key highlight of this expansion is the introduction of long-haul flights between Belgrade and Miami, scheduled to begin in May. This move aims to strengthen the carrier’s presence in North America, tapping into the large diaspora in Florida and leveraging Miami’s status as a major cruise and Latin American gateway.
In addition to the Miami service, the airline will launch flights to Yerevan in late March, Helsinki in April, Cluj in Romania in late May, Chisinau in Moldova, and Menorca in Spain in June. The expansion into Helsinki marks a return to the Finnish market following the suspension of services during the pandemic. These new routes will increase Air Serbia’s total destinations in Spain to nine and its presence in the United States to three.
