Air Serbia network and fleet expansion

Overview

Air Serbia has announced a significant expansion of its flight network for the upcoming summer seasons. A primary component of this growth is the introduction of long-haul service between Belgrade and Miami, which will serve as the airline’s fourth North American destination alongside New York, Chicago, and Toronto.

Other new routes include services to Yerevan, Helsinki, Cluj-Napoca, Chișinău, and Menorca. To support these developments and meet rising passenger demand, CEO Jiří Marek indicated the carrier is evaluating its regional fleet, specifically considering the addition of more ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft to better serve South Eastern Europe.

The airline reported record performance for the first eight months of 2026, having transported over three million passengers.
