Airbnb and DTV launch one-million-euro rural tourism fund

Airbnb and the German Tourism Association (DTV) have launched the ‘NaturMomente’ project competition to support innovative and sustainable tourism in rural areas. The initiative provides a total of one million euros to fund creative projects aimed at boosting tourism in sparsely populated regions with low current tourism intensity.

The competition, which accepts applications until September 9, is designed to help transform ideas into reality for structurally weak areas. The project is supported by the Federal Minister of Agriculture, Alois Rainer.
