Airbourne to release self-titled sixth studio album

Australian hard rock band Airbourne is set to release their sixth studio album, a self-titled record, via Spinefarm Records. The album is scheduled for release in late August or early September 2026.

Recorded at Music Farm Studio near Byron Bay, the production involved a high-budget approach to capture a massive sound. The band reunited with producer Brian Howes and engineer Mike Fraser. The sessions utilized historic equipment, including an original Neve console used by AC/DC and Malcolm Young’s eight-track Neve.

The upcoming tracklist includes songs such as ‘Gutsy’, ‘Alive After Death (Last Plane Out)’, ‘Here She Comes’, and ‘Kid In A Candy Store’. The single ‘Here She Comes’ was co-written with Bryan Adams and Mutt Lange.
