Airbus targets September flight for A350F freighter
Airbus is preparing for the first flight of its A350F freighter, tentatively scheduled for the third week of September. This milestone follows several delays to the program, which was originally intended to enter service in 2025. The company currently aims to deliver the first aircraft in the second half of 2027, though some reports suggest production issues could push this to 2028.
In related developments, KLM is advancing its preparations for the arrival of its first Airbus A350. The airline has completed its first full simulator training session, which will eventually accommodate nearly 4,500 cabin crew members. While the first aircraft, nicknamed ‘De Nachtwacht’, was expected in late August, its delivery to the Netherlands is now anticipated in the first half of September.
