Airtel Malawi Plc opened a modern Airtel Shop at the Area 10 Ekhaya Shopping Complex in Lilongwe on 24 July 2026. The outlet offers 5G broadband, SIM registration, device sales, Airtel Money services and other digital solutions under one roof. Managing Director Aashish Dutt said the investment demonstrates the company’s commitment to bringing world‑class digital and financial services closer to customers, while Lilongwe City Mayor Trizah Silo welcomed the development as a boost to the city’s digital transformation.
In Nigeria, Airtel announced that its retail and distribution network now includes more than 4,000 exclusive Airtel shops and over 200,000 retail touch‑points nationwide.
