AJAP and OLIVUM sign protocol to support Portuguese olive sector

The Association of Young Farmers of Portugal (AJAP) and the Association of Olive Growers and Mills of Portugal (OLIVUM) have signed a cooperation protocol in Beja to support the olive sector.

The agreement aims to strengthen technical support for producers, monitor investment projects, and promote generational renewal within the industry. Through this partnership, OLIVUM members will benefit from AJAP’s specialized services regarding investment projects and income assistance.

The initiative also seeks to increase the value of Portuguese olive cultivation in both national and international markets by promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and the excellence of traditional olive oil varieties.
