AJAP announces organic production training for technicians

The Association of Young Farmers of Portugal (AJAP) is launching a new edition of its organic production method (MPB) course for technicians. The program is accredited by the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DGADR).

Scheduled to begin on September 30, the 135-hour course aims to provide theoretical and practical expertise to enable participants to work as accredited technicians in organic production. The training is designed for individuals holding a Bachelor's or Licentiate degree (Level 6 or higher) in agricultural sciences or related fields who provide technical support to the agricultural, forestry, or agri-food sectors.

The course follows a hybrid format to accommodate participants from various regions. It consists of 107 hours of distance learning, including synchronous and asynchronous sessions, and 28 hours of in-person training. Applications are open until September 25.
