Ajay Rai pledges loyalty to Rahul Gandhi after UP Congress reshuffle

Following a leadership reshuffle within the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC), former president Ajay Rai has pledged his continued loyalty to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Rai described himself as a ‘Hanuman’ to Gandhi, stating he will continue to fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi regardless of his formal designation.

Rai emphasized that political positions are transitory and expressed his acceptance of the national leadership's decision. He also addressed the newly appointed UPCC president, Aradhana Misra ‘Mona’, urging her to protect party workers from alleged harassment by the ruling BJP government and its affiliates.
