Ajichoku launches distribution support for Kumamoto earthquake recovery

Net Bridge Co., Ltd., the operator of the B2B food procurement site Ajichoku, has launched the ‘Eat and Support! Kumamoto’ initiative to assist in the recovery and reconstruction efforts following the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake.

The project aims to support food businesses within Kumamoto Prefecture by facilitating the distribution of their products through a dedicated special section on the Ajichoku platform. These products will be made available to various outlets across Japan, including frozen food vending machines, unmanned stores, hotels, ryokans, and retail shops.

As part of the initiative, 100 yen from every lot ordered through the special Kumamoto section will be donated to the Kumamoto Prefecture earthquake recovery fund. The program focuses on maintaining local economic activity by helping businesses that are still capable of manufacturing and shipping goods, thereby protecting regional jobs and industries.
