Kumamoto earthquake recovery: aid packages and ongoing gaps

Overview

MOTTERU Co., Ltd. has issued donations to 12 child welfare facilities in Kumamoto. The NOK Group has announced a total donation of 25 million yen to Kumamoto Prefecture, split between NOK Corporation (10 million yen), Eagle Industry Co., Ltd. (10 million yen), and Mectec Co., Ltd. (5 million yen). Furthering these efforts, Osaka-based Couria donated 50 million yen to Kumamoto Prefecture, representing total sales from a special collaboration featuring the character Kumamon on ‘Bonbon Drop Seals.’ Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is also expanding.
