AK Parti unveils 25-year vision document for Turkey

To mark its 25th anniversary, the AK Parti has released a comprehensive vision document outlining ten primary objectives intended to shape Turkey’s trajectory over the next 25 years. The document, which includes a preface written by President Tayyip Erdoğan, focuses on elevating Turkey’s status in the global system and transitioning the nation toward a high-income economy.

Key economic priorities include increasing high-value-added production, strengthening R&D, and ensuring financial stability to foster sustainable growth in investment, employment, and exports. The roadmap emphasizes leveraging Turkey’s logistical position and expanding its industrial capacity through digital transformation and technological independence.

In the realm of defense and technology, the plan highlights the ‘National Technology Move,’ aiming for advancements in artificial intelligence, unmanned systems, electronic warfare, hypersonic capabilities, and space technologies. The vision also seeks to expand Turkey’s national security architecture to include cyber security, data security, and critical infrastructure protection.

Additionally, the document addresses social and legal frameworks, including policies for family structure, women, and youth, as well as a vision for a new constitution and a legal system that protects fundamental rights.
