Turkey parties' 25th anniversary celebrations

In late July 2026, two major Turkish political parties marked their 25th anniversaries with public events. The Saadet Party held ceremonies in Afyonkarahisar and Nevşehir, presenting a tree‑planting certificate to the local governor and delivering speeches that emphasized justice and support for ordinary citizens. A week later, the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) prepared its own nationwide commemorations. A new logo featuring national landmarks and flagship projects was unveiled, and a series of events were scheduled across all 81 provinces. A central program on 14 August in Ankara will include a drone show, the release of 25,000 commemorative coins, a new anthem, and a massive tree‑planting campaign targeting 25 million seedlings.
