Akane-banashi anime merchandise to launch via Kujibiki-do online lottery

The online lottery service Kujibiki-do has announced a new merchandise campaign for the TV anime ‘Akane-banashi’. The collection features characters Akane Sakurazaki, Karashi Nerimaya, and Hikaru Takaragi dressed in modern Japanese-style clothing.

Scheduled to run from August 19, 2026, to September 16, 2026, the lottery includes various prizes such as large acrylic stand figures, smaller acrylic stands, keychains featuring several characters, bromides, and tin badges. Each individual lottery draw is priced at 770 yen, with special bonuses available for those purchasing ten-set bundles.

The anime, based on the manga by Yuki Suenaga and Takamasa Maisho serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, follows Akane Sakurazaki as she pursues the rank of ‘Shinuchi’ in the world of rakugo. The television adaptation is slated to begin in April 2026, with a second season scheduled for January 2027.
