Turkish municipalities launch widespread road and infrastructure projects
Municipalities across various Turkish provinces are conducting extensive road maintenance, asphalt paving, and infrastructure projects to improve transportation and regional connectivity.
In Balıkesir, the Metropolitan Municipality has launched an asphalt campaign across 20 districts, including the completion of 1,100 meters of road in İvrindi. In Pamukkale, a 12-kilometer asphalt project was completed to support agricultural production in the Kocadere neighborhood. Meanwhile, Kahramanmaraş is investing in both road surfaces and the construction of 43 bridges and culverts to enhance safety in rural and urban areas.
Other regional efforts include Antalya's maintenance of rural and highland roads, and Şehitkamil's preparations for winter through asphalt works in new residential areas. In Manisa, officials are addressing road needs in the Yuntdağı region, while İncirliova has completed 30,000 square meters of new road construction. Additionally, Aydın is focusing on landscape and green space maintenance, and Trabzon's Ortahisar Municipality is providing home renovation support for elderly and needy citizens.
