Akdital opens first international hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Moroccan healthcare group Akdital has officially opened its first international facility, AKDITAL Hospitals Al Olaya, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Having received authorization from the Saudi Ministry of Health, the hospital is now operational and treating patients.

The multidisciplinary facility spans over 17,600 square meters and features 140 beds. It includes more than 50 specialized care units, 11 operating blocks, over 30 critical care beds, and an 18-bed emergency department. Medical specialties offered include cardiology, oncology, hematology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, dialysis, diabetology, and a dedicated women’s health center covering maternity and fertility services.

This opening marks the beginning of Akdital’s expansion strategy in the Kingdom. The group aims to reach a total capacity of 1,000 beds in Saudi Arabia by 2030, supported by a planned investment of 5.3 billion riyals (approximately $1.4 billion).
