Akhilesh Yadav accuses BJP of social division and land grabbing

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has leveled several accusations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a press conference in Lucknow. Yadav accused the ruling party of using religion and education to divide society, specifically alleging discrimination against madrasas and criticizing the quality of the current education system.

Regarding infrastructure, Yadav criticized the government’s land acquisition process for the Aligarh-Moradabad Greenfield Access-Controlled Expressway. He labeled the BJP the ‘biggest land mafia’ and the ‘Bharatiya Zameen Party,’ demanding that circle rates be increased to match actual market values to ensure fair compensation for farmers. He also questioned why reclaimed land is not being used for industrial corridors.

Additionally, Yadav raised concerns regarding electoral integrity, alleging that Samajwadi Party supporters have had their names deleted from voter lists through irregular Form 7 applications. He also addressed unemployment and promised to improve the status of shiksha mitras if his party gains power.
