Akhilesh Yadav accuses BJP of voter list manipulation

Akhilesh Yadav, National President of the Samajwadi Party (SP), has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of conspiring to manipulate voter lists. Addressing party workers at the SP state headquarters in Lucknow, Yadav claimed the ruling party is attempting to create fraudulent votes while removing legitimate votes belonging to opposition parties.

Yadav urged party workers to remain vigilant at their respective booths to prevent ‘vote theft.’ He further criticized the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, citing issues such as inflation, unemployment, corruption, and the alleged misuse of police power to protect influential figures. He also alleged that the state government has been responsible for frequent paper leaks in examinations.

The SP leader asserted that the public is dissatisfied with the current administration and has resolved to bring about a change in power during the 2027 assembly elections.
