Akhilesh Yadav criticizes BJP government in Uttar Pradesh

Akhilesh Yadav, president of the Samajwadi Party, has launched a multi-point critique against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh. In a detailed social media post, Yadav raised concerns regarding law and order, corruption, and the treatment of farmers and youth.

He specifically criticized the government's use of ‘bulldozer action’ against citizens and alleged that opposition leaders are being targeted with false legal cases. Yadav also highlighted issues facing the agricultural sector, including inadequate access to fertilizers, irrigation, and electricity, as well as the lack of fair pricing for crops.

Furthermore, Yadav addressed the BJP's rhetoric regarding drug addiction, suggesting that the party should focus on addressing issues within Uttar Pradesh before commenting on other regions like Punjab. He characterized the current administration's 'double engine' governance as a 'trouble engine' and accused the government of misusing public funds for infrastructure and religious projects.
