Aksaray Villa Murder Leaves One Dead, Three Flee Toward Konya and Adana

On the night of July 26, 2026, a gathering of five people (including one woman) in a garden gazebo of a villa in Çiftlik Mahallesi, Aksaray, turned violent when a firearm was fired. 61‑year‑old Mustafa Eriş was shot in the head and later pronounced dead at the scene.

After the shooting, three suspects – one woman and two men – removed the villa’s security‑camera recording device and fled in two separate vehicles, one heading toward Konya and the other toward Adana. Police arrived after a 112 call, secured the area, detained a witness who later provided a full account, and began fingerprint and evidence collection. The victim’s body was taken to Aksaray Education and Research Hospital for an autopsy. The Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened a formal investigation, and police continue to pursue the three fleeing suspects.
