Kumar faced online backlash after appearing uncertain during a history-based question regarding which Indian ruler won the First Battle of Tarain. Despite having previously portrayed Prithviraj Chauhan in the 2022 film Samrat Prithviraj and advocating for the historical importance of such figures in textbooks, Kumar joked that he was more familiar with the film 'Train to Busan' than the historical event. The duo eventually selected Prithviraj Chauhan as the answer.

In a separate moment on the show, Kumar shared a humorous memory from the 2008 film Tashan. He recounted an early morning encounter where he saw Saif Ali Khan leaving Kareena Kapoor’s room. When questioned by Kumar at the time, Ali Khan had explained that he and Kapoor were heading out for a jog.
