AKTOR to raise over €650 million in capital increase and issue €300 million bond
Greek infrastructure group AKTOR announced a capital increase (ΑΜΚ) of at least €650 million, with demand possibly pushing the amount to €750‑850 million. The subscription book opens on 20 July and closes later that week. A parallel €300 million international bond offering is scheduled for 23 July, together financing a €3 billion investment programme through 2030 covering construction, renewable energy, LNG and other assets.
CEO Alexander Exarchou said the moves will make AKTOR the strongest and financially healthiest company in Greece and southeastern Europe, widening the free‑float and attracting foreign institutional investors after roadshows in London, Paris and New York. Existing major shareholders have pledged about €350 million, while shareholders below a 3 % stake will retain pre‑emptive rights. Post‑deal projections include a market capitalisation above €3.5 billion, cash of at least €1.2 billion and a debt‑to‑equity ratio below 4 times, with EBITDA expected around €200 million.
