Aktor Group launches €300 million five‑year bond issuance

Greek infrastructure firm Aktor Group has begun the process of issuing an unsecured, high‑priority €300 million bond with a five‑year maturity. The program is being organised through a bank‑consortium tender, with UBS Europe SE appointed as sole lead manager for the placement to institutional investors.

Proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes, including financing planned capital‑expenditure projects and new investments that form part of Aktor’s €3 billion growth plan. The bond follows a recent €650 million capital‑increase, which attracted participation from more than 80 investment funds, many of them long‑only and international investors. The financing round is described by the company’s CEO, Alexandros Exarchou, as a strategic milestone that will strengthen Aktor’s position among the largest infrastructure operators in Greece and the Southeast European region.
