AKTOR Group to acquire 75% of Greek waste‑management firms ΗΛΕΚΤΩΡ and THALIS

AKTOR Group and the Motor Oil group signed a binding share‑purchase agreement to acquire a 75% stake in MANETIAL LIMITED, the parent of the waste‑management companies ΗΛΕΚΤΩΡ M.A.E. and THALIS E.S.A.E. The transaction values the two firms at an enterprise value of €300 million, with projected EBITDA of €40.8 million for 2025 and over €41 million for 2026.

The acquisition is intended to accelerate AKTOR’s strategy in the circular‑economy and water‑resource sectors. Completion is subject to standard regulatory approvals, including the Greek Competition Authority, and is expected by the end of the first quarter of 2027. AKTOR CEO Alexander Exarchou said the deal will expand the group’s environmental project portfolio and increase recurring‑revenue opportunities.
