AKTOR Renewables, a subsidiary of AKTOR, has signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DEPA Emporias to acquire a 51% stake in a strategic portfolio of renewable energy and storage projects in Greece. DEPA Emporias will retain the remaining 49% and will manage the electricity produced from these projects.

The portfolio consists of two main categories. The first includes hybrid renewable energy projects via DEPA's subsidiary, New Spes Concept, featuring photovoltaic plants with a total installed capacity of 221.1 MW combined with battery storage systems of equal injection power. These projects are located across Central Greece (Boeotia, Phocis, Aetolia-Acarnania), Thessaly (Larissa), and the Peloponnese (Achaia).

The second category involves standalone energy storage systems with a total maximum injection power of 250 MW, located in Western Macedonia (Kozani), Thessaly (Larissa), and Central Greece (Phocis). Environmental approvals have already been obtained for these projects.

The total estimated investment for the full development and construction of the portfolio is approximately €370 million, contingent upon securing necessary grid connection terms. The transaction is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
