AKTOR secures €950 million through capital increase and €300 million bond issuance

Greek energy group AKTOR completed a double financing operation on 27 July, raising a total of €950 million. The package combines a €650 million capital increase – which was heavily oversubscribed with offers exceeding €2.2 billion – and the launch of a five‑year €300 million international bond guaranteed by UBS Europe. The bond book opened and closed on the same day, reflecting strong investor demand.

The proceeds will fund AKTOR’s €3 billion investment plan through 2031, targeting growth in LNG, renewable energy, infrastructure and concessions across Southeast Europe. New shares are set to begin trading on Euronext Athens on 28 July. The company projects revenues of €2.3‑€2.8 billion and EBITDA of €375‑€425 million for 2028‑2029, with longer‑term goals of €4.5‑€5 billion revenue and €600‑€700 million EBITDA after 2030.
