Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno promotes unity and healthcare development

Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has emphasized the importance of social stability and healthcare development within the state. During a thanksgiving service at Qua Iboe Church, the Governor called for peace, unity, and tolerance, warning against division as the 2027 campaign season approaches. He stressed that collective effort and peaceful coexistence are essential for the state's continued progress.

In a separate development, Governor Eno inspected the construction site of the Ibom International Hospital in Uyo. The project, which is expected to be completed by June 2027, aims to provide specialized medical services, including cancer treatment and early diagnostic capabilities, to residents of Akwa Ibom and the surrounding region. The Governor highlighted the facility's potential to become a world-class medical center in Africa and urged citizens to enroll in health insurance schemes to manage the costs of specialized care.
