Al-Ahsa Governor inaugurates Lemon City 2 project

Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, presided over the closing ceremony of the Loomi Al-Hasawi 2026 Exhibition. The event was attended by Mansour Al-Mushaiti, Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, along with various officials and partners.

During the ceremony, the Governor inaugurated the ‘Lemon City 2’ project, an initiative by the Reef Foundation. Spanning over 3.1 million square meters, the project includes 183 agricultural holdings and more than 80,000 trees, aimed at enhancing production efficiency and supporting the local agricultural sector.

Several memorandums of understanding and agreements were signed to promote agricultural development, strengthen value chains, and support farmers and entrepreneurial projects. These efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030 by transitioning local products from simple marketing to manufacturing and investment stages. The exhibition, organized by the Al-Ahsa Chamber of Commerce, featured over 104 participants and 84 transformative products.
