Al-Aqsa Mosque incursions and West Bank raids escalate

Tensions have escalated in Jerusalem and the West Bank due to increased settler activity and Israeli military operations. In Jerusalem, dozens of settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy Israeli security protection. During the incursion, a religious Torah study session was conducted in the mosque's courtyards, supervised by Rabbi Eliezer Wolfson of the Yeshivat Har HaBayit school. This follows a trend of increasing incursions, with reports noting over 13,000 settlers entered the site during the previous month.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces conducted widespread raids across the West Bank, including Jenin, Hebron, Nablus, and Ramallah. These operations involved house searches, detentions, and the establishment of military checkpoints. In the Hebron area, specifically in Khirbet Ghwein, armed settlers attacked Palestinian homes with stones, clubs, and pepper spray, resulting in injuries to three residents. In Jenin and surrounding villages, military raids led to several arrests and confrontations. In the Ramallah district, settlers also intercepted and attacked Palestinian vehicles near Sinjil.
