Al-Bait Mal Al-Quds Agency launches free medical campaigns in Jerusalem

The Al-Bait Mal Al-Quds Agency, under the Jerusalem Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI, has launched the second phase of its free medical campaign project in the Jerusalem Governorate. Starting in the town of Bidu, northwest of the city, the initiative aims to improve healthcare access for residents in areas facing difficulties reaching medical facilities.

Supported by the Moroccan Akdital Group and in partnership with Astra Lab, the campaign provides services in pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and ophthalmology, alongside mobile laboratory testing. Approximately 150 citizens benefited from the first day of this phase.

The second phase is organized into three thematic pillars:

• October: Focuses on breast cancer awareness and early detection through mobile clinics and seminars. • November: Targets men’s health and chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. • December: Addresses the health of the elderly and persons with disabilities, including mental health consultations and home care workshops.

The campaign is being implemented in coordination with the Jerusalem Governorate, the Municipality of Bidu, and local community centers to serve the towns of Bidu, Al-Qubeiba, and Qatanna.
