Bait Mal Al-Quds Agency humanitarian activities in Jerusalem
Overview
The Bait Mal Al-Quds Agency, the executive arm of the Jerusalem Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI of Morocco, has reported on its humanitarian activities and launched new medical initiatives in Jerusalem.
During the 52nd session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Baghdad, the agency presented a report covering achievements from June 2025 to September 2026. This report highlighted interventions in social welfare, education, health, and economic empowerment, including Ramadan food distribution and the ‘Warm Winter’ initiative for Bedouin families. The agency is currently developing a strategic vision for 2027–2030 to focus on digitalization and funding diversification.
Building on these efforts, the agency has launched the second phase of a free medical campaign in the Jerusalem Governorate. Starting in the town of Bidu, the project provides services in pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and ophthalmology. Supported by the Moroccan Akdital Group and Astra Lab, the campaign is structured into thematic pillars: breast cancer awareness in October, men’s health and chronic diseases in November, and elderly and disability care in December.
