Shabwah security forces seize Houthi weapons shipment and cell

Rapid Intervention Forces in Shabwah province have dismantled a Houthi cell consisting of 13 members. The operation resulted in the seizure of a truck loaded with a significant cache of weapons and explosives, including approximately 500 automatic weapons and sniper rifles, 120mm and 106mm projectiles, high-explosive improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and specialized components and munitions for drones.

Investigations indicate the shipment was smuggled by sea via the Radum district coast to be delivered to Houthi militias. This security achievement follows a recent Houthi ballistic missile attack that killed 77 Rapid Intervention Force members and injured 195 others.

In a separate military development, the Yemeni army reported conducting 753 attacks against Houthi positions within a 24-hour period as part of operation ‘Dawn of Yemen’. The army claims these strikes neutralized approximately 218 Houthi members and leaders while destroying or disabling 78 military vehicles and weapons systems.
