Al Wadia border security intercepts 15,000 Pregabalin tablets

Security forces at the Al Wadia border crossing in Yemen's Hadhramaut governorate intercepted a large shipment of narcotics attempting to enter Saudi Arabia. The seizure involved approximately 15,000 Pregabalin tablets.

Brigadier General Bassam al-Najjar, commander of the security and protection battalion, stated that the drugs were discovered during routine inspections. The substances were carefully concealed within hollowed-out sections of a vehicle's body. The driver and the vehicle have been detained, and both will be transferred to the relevant authorities following preliminary investigations. The shipment originated from areas under Houthi militia control.
