Alaşehir holds ceremony for 11 students completing Quran memorization

In the Alaşehir district of Manisa, an authorization ceremony (icazet) was held at the Pazar Mosque for 11 students who completed their Quran memorization training. The event was attended by local officials, including Alaşehir District Governor Ercan Öter, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı Mosque Services Department Head Turgut Erhan, and various religious leaders.

The program featured recitations by several award-winning hafizs, including Selman Kızmaz, Adem Bilgetay, and Bünyamin Topçuoğlu. During the ceremony, District Governor Ercan Öter emphasized the significant role of religious officials in helping the community access correct religious knowledge. He noted that memorizing the Quran requires great effort and dedication, congratulating the students, their families, and their teachers.

The 11 graduates recognized were Burak Akçam, Mehmet Çan, Halil Efe Pehlivan, Recep Sait Yenen, Mustafa Aksu, Ubeyd Yenen, Muhammed Said Koçoğlu, Esat Yakut, Talha Eren Savaş, Alperen Dereler, and Samet Tıknaz.
