Quran memorization ceremonies in Turkey

Overview

Ceremonies were held in different Turkish districts to celebrate students who completed Quran memorization training.

In the Alaşehir district of Manisa, 11 students were recognized during an authorization ceremony at the Pazar Mosque. Local officials, including District Governor Ercan Öter, attended the event, which featured recitations by several award-winning hafizs.

In the Seydiler district of Kastamonu, a larger ceremony celebrated 51 students from a school operating under a protocol between the Ministry of National Education and the Presidency of Religious Affairs. The celebration included a convoy of over 200 vehicles and a formal ceremony attended by Kastamonu Governor Meftun Dallı and other representatives from the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
