Alagoas courts roll out leadership training and new automation solutions

The Superior School of Magistrates of Alagoas (Esmal) opened registrations for a two‑day leadership and management course aimed at judges of the Alagoas Court of Justice. The program, taught by former federal prosecutor Marcial Duarte Coêlho, runs on 6–7 August and includes an asynchronous assessment on 10 August. It seeks to equip magistrates with skills for team leadership and process organization to boost judicial productivity.

The Federal Justice of Alagoas (JFAL) hosted the third Innovation Summit, chaired by federal judge Raimundo Alves de Campos Jr. The event introduced six automated procedural flows for the 5th Federal Region, a new stage of the Cassandra platform that automatically links deposit information to cases, and other tools designed to standardize procedures, cut repetitive tasks and lessen manual work in courts. Coordinators Felipe Barbosa Martiniano highlighted the expected reduction in paperwork for court clerks and faster issuance of notices to parties.
