In late July, the Superior School of Magistrates of Alagoas opened a two‑day leadership and management course for judges, while the Federal Justice of Alagoas hosted an Innovation Summit that introduced automated procedural flows and new digital tools to streamline court work. A few days later, judicial schools expanded their training agenda: the Mato Grosso school launched a short course on environmental law, and the Alagoas school announced a remote session on Indigenous peoples' rights. The shift shows a broadening of Brazil’s judicial education from internal management and technology adoption toward specialized substantive topics such as environmental protection and indigenous rights, with both in‑person and virtual formats being employed.

In early August, the Escola Superior da Magistratura de Mato Grosso (Esmagis‑MT) began a second edition of its Introduction to Environmental Law course (3‑5 August) and held a one‑day seminar on “The Role of the Judiciary in the Cooperative Constitutional State.” The same period featured the X Encontro do Tribunal do Júri in Cuiabá, a gathering of prosecutors that included lectures on the strategic importance of the jury system and on criminal investigation. The snapshot also noted a wave of public‑sector job openings across the state, underscoring a broader effort to strengthen institutional capacity while continuing to expand judicial training topics.
