Alagoas municipalities complete IEGM 2026 data submission

Municipalities in the state of Alagoas have successfully met the deadline for submitting data for the 2026 Municipal Management Effectiveness Index (IEGM). The Court of Accounts of Alagoas (TCE/AL) reported that all municipalities completed the questionnaire submission on time.

The IEGM is a nationally recognized index used to evaluate various areas of public administration, providing a comprehensive view of management quality in each municipality. The collected data will allow the Court of Accounts to identify progress, pinpoint challenges, and guide managers in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of public services.

Paulo Mota, director and coordinator of the IEGM Commission at TCE/AL, credited the success to the integrated work of municipal managers, internal controllers, and technical teams. The mobilization was also supported by institutional partnerships with the Association of Alagoan Municipalities (AMA) and the School of Public Accounts, which provided technical guidance and assistance regarding deadlines.
