Alan Cumming hosts new season of ‘The Traitors’

Alan Cumming continues his role as the host of the Emmy-winning reality competition series ‘The Traitors’ on Peacock. The show, filmed in a Scottish castle, follows a group of contestants where ‘Traitors’ attempt to remain undetected while ‘murdering’ the ‘faithfuls,’ who in turn attempt to vote the traitors out to claim a $1 million prize.

For the season ‘The Traitors: New Blood,’ which premiered on September 17, the production has transitioned to a non-celebrity cast. Cumming works with stylist Sam Spector to create elaborate, themed costumes for each episode that reflect the specific challenges faced by the contestants.

New episodes of the series air on NBC on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, with streaming availability on Peacock the following day, as well as through services like Fubo and DirecTV Stream.
