Alan Jones faces trial for indecent assault and sexual touching

Retired broadcaster Alan Jones is appearing in a Sydney courtroom for his indecent assault and sexual touching trial. Jones, 85, faces 21 charges involving five male complainants, following the withdrawal of one charge involving a 17-year-old boy.

During the eighth week of the trial, a fourth complainant, an executive identified as H, testified that Jones placed his hand on his upper back and slid it down his spine to rest on his bottom during a Sydney event several years ago. The complainant stated he did not react at the time because he did not want to cause a scene and felt powerless in the situation.

Jones has pleaded not guilty to all charges, which relate to alleged incidents occurring between 2003 and 2020. The trial is being held at the Downing Centre Local Court.
