Alandroal hosts religious festivals and youth festival

The Festas em Honra de Nossa Senhora da Conceição and the Festival da Juventude have commenced in Alandroal, running from September 3 to September 7. The multi-day event features a diverse program of religious ceremonies, musical concerts, cultural activities, and sporting events.

Musical highlights include performances by Carolina de Deus, Nena, and The Gift. The festivities also feature dance shows by Nadirahs and Magic Kids, as well as DJ sets by Alan Briats and DJ Brat at the Alandroal Castle. Religious observances include a preparatory triduum at the Matriz Church and a mass and procession in honor of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday. Other scheduled activities include bull releases, garraiadas, and the Filarmónica Extravagante show featuring Uxu Kalhus and the Alandroal Cultural Center Philharmonic Band.
