Alanya to host major international beach sports events in 2026

Alanya, Turkey, has announced a series of major international sporting events scheduled for 2026, aimed at strengthening the region's position in sports tourism. The city will host the Beach Soccer World Winners Cup, which returns to Alanya after a seven-year hiatus under a three-year hosting agreement. The tournament will feature 32 men's and 16 women's teams, with matches held at the 23 Projects Alanya International Beach Sports Center. The event is expected to be broadcast in over 110 countries via TRT and Beach Soccer Worldwide.

In addition to beach soccer, the region will host the 5th Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour – Alanya Futures from October 15–18, 2026, and the 35th International Alanya Triathlon from October 23–25, 2026. These consecutive events are intended to extend the local tourism season and boost the regional economy through increased spending on accommodation, transportation, and retail.
