In October 2026, the 5th Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour – Alanya Futures concluded at the 23 Projects International Alanya Beach Sports Center. The four-day tournament, held from October 15 to 18, featured 64 teams and 128 elite athletes. In the men’s category, the German duo Hekel and Pieper secured first place, while Turkish athletes Yusuf Özdemir and Batuhan Kuru finished second. In the women’s category, the Dutch pair Luini and Essink took the championship, followed by Japan’s Riko and Kikuchi in second place.

Additionally, the city is set to host the sixth edition of the Beach Soccer Club World Cup from October 26 to November 1. This tournament features 44 clubs from five continents competing in men’s and women’s categories at the International Beach Sports Center. The event, which coincides with Turkey’s Republic Day, is expected to attract approximately 800 athletes, representatives, and media professionals.
